Origins.

« Bellacoopia Europe » was born from the experiences acquired during the development of « Bellacoopia », an initiative promoted by « Legacoop Forlì-Cesena » targeting high-school students of the province of Forlì-Cesena.
« Bellacoopia » gives every year the possibility to ten high-school classes to imagine their own co-operative enterprise, by creating its project. The participants are accompanied through several interactive work-shops in the main features and aspects of the co-operative movement and the final outcome is a simple and basic business plan.

This initiative, which is already at the sixth edition, represents an important and useful moment for the territory's co-operation movement thanks to the action of dissemination of the values and principles which are endorsed in the co-operation, and by creating a sort of generational « bridge » between youngsters and the world of social co-operative entrepreneurship.
« Bellacoopia Europe » wants to invest on the experiences accumulated thanks to the job done in Forlì and Cesena’s high-schools by enlarging the co-operative dissemination effect to university students in the province of Forlì-Cesena and, moreover, to other countries of Europe.

The aim of the initiative is, in fact, the development and simulation of a « European Co-operative Society».
